hat is a Snood?

A snood is somewhere between a scarf and a hood. They are worn around a dogs neck, sitting either just behind the ears or over the ears. They are great for keeping long necked dogs warm on winter walks; many coats just don't stretch about their neckline. Alternatively, people like to use them for dogs with large ears, to stop them getting in the way during meal times. Either way, it is a welcome edition to every dogs wardrobe. You can see one of our dogs modelling their snood, they are ideal for cold winter walks, as well as keeping warm on a night.

Our Snuggle Snoods have two layers of fleece for double the warmth and always go down well with our dogs. Look further down the page for our Snood Gallery and you can also see the handy lead space in them.

Sizes

Generally, one size usually fits all, but we offer snoods in two sizes:

Regular - From personal experience this size fits; greyhounds, collies, labradors and even a whippet cross.

Small - Terriers, Smaller spaniels - we may ask for measurements when ordering snoods for small dogs.

Yellow Snoods can be worn over the ears, some dogs don't like this, but many don't mind. In fact, Poppy here likes having warm ears!	Navy Snoods can also be worn just behind the ears.

NEW COLOURS Here are 3 of our 4 new colours brought in during December 2007. They are all of a pawprint design with either a pink, blue or red background.

All breeds can wear snoods! Jet, our medium sized Collie x Retriever loves her snood.	All sizes of sighthounds can wear them. Chip is a medium sized, rough coated lurcher.
